Hi my name Xarly

I bought a couple of weeks back a bimota db6 deliro whose previous owner had a bad frontal crash. As a result of that, there was damage in the front forks, front fenders (mud guard), steering bearings, headlight, front wheel, discs and some of the fairings.

As I found out it's nearly impossible to find these parts in Spain, and I wanted to know if you knew of a dealer, or where to find them, since otherwise the bike can not be used again.

Thank you for your help.

Ouch, that's a lot of parts that you need...

Currently, Bimota is moving to a new warehouse, so reaching them in Italy won't have much succes...

Try to reach Paolo Girotti from Bimota Classic Parts (search it on Facebook) to see if he have some parts for you.
But honestly....good luck.

Do you of any other bikes using the same headlight, and any other model using the same front wheel or equivalent?
I am going to be able to repair the forks but not the wheel, so I would need the same or something similar enough to make it work

Thanks!

For the wheel you should ask directly with Oz racing and not Bimota...

Never managed to find out what the headlight is off but is the same as DB5/11 and BB3 .
Wheel is the standard Bimota one , same as standard DB5 , not sure of manufacturer but I dont think its Oz or marchesini, Marvics and Oz are used on the R version's.

Hello.......the Benelli TNT 1130 is a very close design and very cheap alloy version alternative
NOT usual Bimota standards but needs must if no immediate alternative.

Most items were not exclusive to Bimota and although the new factory opened yesterday..
.......no orders are being accepted for parts until ALL the boxes have been unpacked!
....do not ask how I know...I have been waiting to place an order since MAY

Regards
Gavin

The Benelli wheel is NOT a straight 'bolt in' alternative BUT is of a similar design and at a fraction of the price.

The bearing size on the TNT wheel is 30mm but they use a sleeve to reduce it down.....you could machine a new spacer to fit the spindle you have,

I have used these wheels until the correct ones are available or at a secondhand price.......buying a single wheel from the 'official outlets' is very expensive.

Bimota do not really answer emails ...they prefer that you go via one of the parts people rather than direct to the factory

I hope that this helps

Gavin
