Both of these are spot on with current trends of the Worlds 2 big Power Houses and their current shopping spree of the World.....

What is it that India has now???...Royal Enfield for a long time ago.....and they also bought the Name for "BSA"...otherwise known as Birmingham Small Arms.....some £2million + apparently...despite their being nothing bought other than the name....and they bought Metmachex…..And India has been making Brembo brakes for Brembo for over ten years....And Tat of Inida bought Jaguar Land Rover....The good old days of the British Raj....eh.....when we took over India....and now its going Full circle...what goes around comes around.

China?...Well they own Moto Morini now...and I've heard that the new Mondial scooters and hipster bikes are also made in China...with engines by Piaggio...And now Even the likes of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Piaggio, Peugeot and BMW are Joining with China to manufacture bikes in China....I suppose if you cant beat them join them....

That's just sad. The automotive industry in Australia is now dead too. It was once a huge industry in Aus with many makes of vehicle built in factories here.... all now gone offshore to foreign sweatshops

They have cheap labour.

Cheer up the UK voted to kill off our industry but on the upside they can retrain in the service industry .... making coffee. Dyson who advocated leaving the EU then moves to Singapore

The new "mondial" has no Italian manufacturing and it has nothing to do with the old property.
They buy pieces in China and assemble them in Italy.

Moto Morini, from how it is understood, the production and all the valuable components, will still be exclusively Italian

Labour prices vary the world over but raw materials are a given so the actual saving of a low cost country is minimal , plus then you have to ship everything.
Thus the only way to make cheap is to use sub quality materials and produce to a lower quality , quicker and on mass to justify cost saving.

You pay for crap , you get crap !!

I ordered something from china recently....and it came in 4 days...complete with Chinese Customs declaration papers on the back...marked below value of £30 to evade customs duty, tax etc....the real development was it came in a "Parcelforce 48Hr" envelope....thus when it flew over it was dispatched quickly...thing is....It wasn't Parcelfroce...although they delivered it.....the envelope was a copy to give you quick service....Why is that country beyond reproach and outwith being sued for fraud, copyright infringement etc etc etc???

Stock car.....don’t be so hasty.....some old factory names have been re employed and there was 30 Ducati engines allocated.

Ducati contacts state the 30 2valvers are still sitting waiting to be paid for,
They are euro3 ...so may end up Not in Europe.....unless dispensation is granted.

As mentioned to Australian Shay....the Tesi is probably the best supported Bimota model in Japan.

It is announced now....was muted weeks ago and as early as Aug 1sr.
2Bims confirmed when he snatched the SuprCity......from me

Regards

Gavin
