Can someone tell me the dimensions of the hard to find barrel roller steering bearings used on the adjustable steering angle setups? Want to see if they'll work for something i want to try (non Bimota)
Thanks |

Hello,
how do you adjust the adjustable bearings? Is this the setup on the SB2, HB1 etc.?
Cheers, MikeJ |

If they SB etc are the same as the YB series, you remove the upper insert which oem would have the bearing centred, and machine a new insert out of a bit of billet that has the the center hole ID offset in relation to the OD this way you can increase or decrease the fork angle in relation to the frame. |

I think the MK1 SB6 had excentric collars which held the bearings. Not sure about the earlier sb's. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
