As above , £8800 for a low mileage original seems a bargain . |

Not sure why its painted up as 1135 but if it was one of last 10 was probably the only ready to go bodywork left. I think earlier SB5s were 1074 GSX/Katana engines but later bikes (some of them anyway) got the 1135 engine and were badged as such (1135 script at rear of side/seat unit) Normally you can tell from the instruments what model it came from.
Presume there were some specials using the later engines because the later 1135 wasn't homologated in Switzerland. (anal rule book writers)
In any case yes its over 30 years old so import duty only 6% or 7% and NO VAT. Still would make it over £10k delivered into UK but that's good compared to many of the earlier tubular framed Bims that appear in the ads. (would still prefer a YB5 though!) _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |

OOPs, my mistake then. Probably getting mixed up with SB4s (some of which did have EFE engines and clocks but probably kit bikes?) _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |
