That does like tidy...and is still on some kinda makeshift "want" list....hadn't realised to didn't even have a front mudguard before....although changing tyres must be a nightmare with 2 No. single sided swingarms....never had a single sided swingarm bike before.... |

GeeKay, yours looks like the business. If I had something like this, I'd be leaning into left hand turns all day long _________________ 1991 Bimota YB10

Hi
That is clean.
They do have a front mudguard. But only a vestigial one really.
Supporting the front end is a bit of a pain. And you need to remove the front wheel to get the brake caliper off. And for real fun, the front brake line is routed through the middle of the front fork, which was real fun to put back in place!
All the best

and all the suspension is in the steering head tube, from recollection?
Bob Orchard had a complete front end at Stafford many years ago - I was all over it like a rash. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

It is a single fork that is in front of the steering head. They did talk about developing the system further to put the fork into the head stock but nothing ever came of that.
You can see a bit more in this piccy (although note the scissor linkage is the wrong way up on the rolling chassis):-

We had a spare from him for the bike rolling chassis we had on the stand at Manchester this year. The bike had been crashed hard enough to bend the original fork!
All the best
