https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142704784993?ul_noapp=true#viTabs_0

Not a bad price when compared to what they are and recent High prices asked by other dealers........
Does anyone know if Bimota added the green stripe to the fairing on the request of a specific UK dealer? or was it done elsewhere?
Bike does look like its been standing for some time but very little info given in the advert...nice and clean-ish....I will have to go round though to clean that rear sprocket...AND...my OCD is killing me at the petrol filler cap located at 9 O'clock...Arrghhhhh....take it off and realign it dead ahead at 12...PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE......

European model in Kms though...and strange part about importing....the UK licensing authorities take no notice of previous owners on the V5 New log book they issue...merely classifying you as the "first" owner...albeit in the UK that is....Caveat Emptor...Is it anyones on here that can give a bit more info on this bike? Servicing, MOT's...the dreaded and feared front sprocket/Clutch slave???/ twin battery set-up etc??

Oh yeh...I've also got to get them to rip off those tacky faux carbon rear indicators to the same originals as on the front....readily available...its not rocket science is it...Unless the current owner doesn't know about this Forum that is..... Laughing

I have seen other SB6's with additional green decals, but always thought that owners had fitted them ?

Might go for this if he offers me a decent p/x against a triumph 1050 gt i ended up with after helping my mate out who was short on cash . Already have 2 standard mint wr and wt models in my collection . Do know it’s engine out for even simplest jobs . Just remembered this 94 bike will have the earlier engine not the later wt one which has a few subtle differences ,not that there short on power anywhere .lol

The green stripe doesn't suit the rest of the bike in my opinion, and why is the fuel cap 90 deg out Shocked

always wanted the earlier sb6 . I,m very ocd when it comes to my bikes so I,d have to go through this one ,fairings off etc before I bought it . dealer probably wouldn't be too keen maybe . other bike that interests me is the yb11 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bimota-YB11-Super-Leggera/273072082950?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649.
mainly looking to add to my pension scheme with these bikes ,plus I can look and ride them . got a big list that keeps changing by the day .

sent an e mail asking for some close up photos and info . also rang up .
bike was taken in p/x . no history .just gave it a clean . asked a few searching questions . got an e mail backpractically straight away saying bike is "probably sold "
strange . will wait for a better example to come up or go for an earlier more desirable model sb3/4 or similar .

I emailed and he told me it was a friends bike he selling but no history. Seems still available at mo too. I had one of these in 1999 and cruising at 6000 rpm the vibration thru foot pegs made my feet go numb. Hell of a bike tho.
Had a sb6r too. Better bike but no way as pretty as earlier sb6.
I like the green stripes too.
Must admit I'm tempted but my knackered arm does put me off.
2 nice sb8r's available. One £8500. Other eye watering £14950.
