I have been offered a naked version of the SB6r and apparently it was a factory/dealer model. I have searched everywhere on the net but I can not find any info on it at all! Shocked

I have seen a few different photos on: www.bimota-enthusiasts.com which confirms that they are out there!!!!

Any ideas or info guys? Very Happy

Scotty

It appears that it was a dealer option: Very Happy

"ZTK Bimota Nudas - Streetfighters are becoming extremely popular these days, which is why Bimota's old German importers ZTK have produced their own version based on the defunct marque's SB6R and YB11. Once again, Mr Cathcart was on hand to sample their efforts."

Reading the full info it reads as if ZTK bought up all of the bankrupt stock from Bimota and decided to streetfighter a number of them.

There are a few different "street-fightered" sb6r's in the gallery.

Not officially a factory model but it was converted from new by the largest Bimota dealer in europe.

The chap selling the naked sb6r says that there are 5 of them in the UK all late registrations 02 & 03.

What do you think it would be worth?

Well all depends on condition and milage. A good standard one can be had for around the 4K mark so I would expect to pay considerably less for one missing 3k of fairing although, personaly, I like the streetfighter theme Wink

So I'm guessing that 3k is a little rich Sad

It is in excellent condition, has covered 3000 miles and is registerd on an 02 plate.

If It's in good nick and not too many miles and you like it, 3k aint too bad but 2.5k would be better Laughing

OK, now found it for sale on fleabay. Think there is a little bit of poetic licence in the description. Bottom line is, Bimota never made a naked SB6R. If your happy with the streetfighter look (I personally am) then buy it, but dont pay too much for it as you might have trouble getting your money back when you come to sell it. Wink

Hang on in there, maybe just a few dreamers looking for a cheap exotic bike.
It's only 2k at the moment, I'd buy it for 2k as breaking it wold make more than that. If you really want it, offer him £2750 to end the auction Wink
