At first glance parts SEEM kinda pricey....but are all painted original stuff...cheaper than SOME bimota suppliers would be selling them for...wink wink....and considering the dealer probably paid for much of this stuff way back in the mid 1990's....he's waited a LONG time after paying for them and still not got his money back....And for comparison...I'll wager that they are cheaper than Factory parts for any new BMW/Ducati/Jap four bike....they just seem pricey if a full fairing and seat unit/seat pad/screen is £2200...for a BB1...when you can buy a good used Whole bike for £5000....A full paint job can cost £2000 on a complete set of Bimota bodywork from a good painter nowadays...so to get a full set of already painted stuff for that much...not a bad deal... |

These parts are used/ 2nd hand and have been on eBay for a looong time. I’m pretty sure he owns a wrecking business. His parts are always fairly pricey _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I’ve made him a few offers on a number of items over the past couple years but he will only come down a few $ on his prices. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I purchased a wrecked YB11 off him years ago, he is pricey, I certainly wouldn't pay the money he is asking for a lot of his stuff. |

So I see you've been introduced to Simon then. Simon runs a smash repair come second hand bike business come spare parts dealer come bike importer to Australia. There is no bargain with Simon and he knows what things are worth but it doesn't hurt to throw him an offer as with any business $$$$ is the important thing at the end of the day. He does have a lot of Bimota stuff collected over the years from visiting and importing bikes from Japan. The parts bikes are ones he will have used to make up a good one. I bought my YB7 from him (as well as a GSXR750 and a RG250 WW). The gems tend to get picked up pretty quickly, what you see are mostly leftovers. _________________ pkay
