So I am a little late responding here but just my $.02 (USA that is) here:

The stuttering above 7K RPM is either the high range of a coil that has failed or perhaps injector(s) flow failure. The injectors meter fuel so as demand increases, so should the flow. The coil can be bench tested or perhaps swap out with another Ducati known "good coil". Don't forget to check the coil wires as they can sometimes "burn" their conductors back to where they get only partial "connectivity" and spark.

It could be a variety of issues.

FWIW, unless Ducati has changed things up a bit, Ducati's with carburetors used and in-tank fuel pump that is the same as a 1984 Ford Ranger pickup and some Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees. They run about $35-$55 (USD) over here but they can't be much more over there.

Here is a Walbro unit:

AEM makes a high flow in-tank pump kit for around $85 (USD).

You just need to confirm the size (form factor) and flow but there are dozens that should work versus paying $$$ at the dealer.
