Some 22 years ago....Motorbike magazine in the UK advert for the YB11....now the words and maybe the bike aren't as good as the "Some things are better in life....But then you cant stay in bed forever...." Gold and black DB1 advert.....but its the fact that theres 8 No. UK dealers listed at the bottom of the page......8...I say EIGHT...and just in the UK...I can make out 7 of them but not the eighth....anyone with better eyes than me??

Have to add...Must have been a "bitch" parking a YB11 with its infamous Bimota sidestand on that granite cobbled and paved street.....they must have been having panic attacks during the photo shoot

I think the heading "No Words yet devised can adequately describe it"....can quite aptly be brought forward to today and applied to how someone somewhere messed the company up to what it is today...just IMHO

Advert can be purchased from Ebay Oz...bit dear postage though to the UK...or just print this one off...teehee...gets me knackers when folk cut up a magazine and try to sell one page for a tenner..I've even seen my own face for sale on ebay a couple of times (old Practical Sportsbikes articles cut out and put up for sale...talking about...well...Bimotas of course

And Bimota always did nice brochures...including this one...which was before they had even made the bike...This one...which I have...was reportedly handed to the previous owner by the "late great Sergio Robbiano"...so a suitable glass frame mounting will be adorning its surfaces soon

Backpage

Surprising how "little" it changed from artists concept sketch to reality....Shorter end cans on this one...about all I can see...

Bimota sales brochures definitely are very nice. I had never seen one until recent years as we had no dealers and the only importer (as far as I know) Ian Gowanloch was a long way away from me

Not as far as Thoroughbred Motorcycles in Perth though. They were the importer/dealer over here.
