Received some lovely packages today!
One from UK and one from Finland. I’ll post some pics of the contents once I get into them

The Bimota ‘font’ on the address label was a very nice touch…. Careful packaging and bonus goodies are the norm from 2bims… thanks mate

It seems that you are feeling lucky for it and now you can unpack the stuff and show us what's inside.[/url]

Haha, yes...
I'm a little bit remiss as to whether or not i should share this joke...
A bloke was jailed,
He was put in a cell with an imposing, menacing cell mate.
The cell mate abruptly asked? Who do you want to be?
Mummy, or Daddy?
Of course
The new inmate was overjoyed that he had a choice!
He answered Daddy!
The cell mate answers...
Come over here and suck mummy's c###.
Sorry! |

OH YES !!!
Nice early alloy tank and spotless , not sure weather to leave it silver or have thought of getting it sprayed red with the Bimota clear down to the burr alloy ?
The DB5R is nearing 100% now , taken a year to find a tank !!!!!
Only one more bit to go , but struggling finding a replacement headlight TBH

Yeah, mostly superficial damage to the 5R , pegs, levers , engine casing , fairing etc.
Tank was a bargain , last alloy one I saw was about €1k ( I think) , nearly got one off BCP with the levers/pegs but that one was , shall we say, passed its best and not cheap. I had to take one for the team on the bits from BCP but could not stomach the price for a very secondhand tank.
Paid €400 for this one from a chap in Italy !!!!! only bit he had other than RHS fairing and I need the LHS !!!! Story of my life !!
Just the last few bits to go and then re-assemble !!! |

Gotta love an ally tank! I like the red with bare aluminium ‘Bimota’ idea.
I’m glad you held off and found a bargain. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
