There are 2 SB8R for sale on autotrader. These are very different to the V11.
I am also a Guzzi fan and used to have a V11 Scura but I nearly died riding it , road was shut for 2 hours for my accident which was initially reported as a fatality hence my nick zombie. I bought the bike back from the insurer and rebuilt it only to fall off and crash again on the first outing when I panic braked with a barely mended broken shoulder. Oddly enough I met someone who almost did exactly the same with a Scura - maybe something funny about the front Ohlins setup on that bike .
After my two accidents I vowed to go back to my Bimotas which are more my kind of weight - I was paid out £16K compensation for my first accident injuries and I bought an SB8K and YB11 with the money, both of which I still have . A while ago the SB8K set itself on fire and with the insurance payout I bought an SB8RS and also have rebuilt the SB8K, which is almost finished .
Its a merry life. Welcome to the group!!

That is a coincidence, you had the Scura too!
Fine looking bike...good luck with your search.

Sorry to hear you had a a similar experience. Your naked Le Mans looks really nice though especially with the Gold Ohlins; as always the Guzzis can knock a brick s*ithouse down and still come out of the other side holding a line.
I am hoping that sometime soon Aprilia will produce a race rep Guzzi (MGS01 style), even if they do have their own contender (rsv), better still Bimota should use the great new 8 valve guzzi engine in a really lightweight frames like Ghezzi and Magni did.
Cheers,

You say distance does not matter....
Where are you located, and when you say distance does not matter, does this means you are open to buying something on the other side of the world???
I have a few BIMOTA SB8RS bikes Im thinking about selling, but Im in the USA.
If you are serious and want more info and/or pictures then please email me and/or call me to discuss this.
