Hi
Nostalgia getting the better of me and looking for one of the above in UK, in good condition and low miles. Please let me know if you have one you want to sell

Many thanks,
Zombie.

Hi Zombie

I have a YB8e with 13.2k miles. It is in excellent condition both cosmetically and (unlike most that find their way on to the market) mechanically. In summary:

Wiseco big bore 1040 motor, with ported head and lightened & balanced crank
K&N air filter
Dynojetted & showing 132.3bhp at the rear wheel
Good tyres
Recently replaced DID chain and sprockets
Exup valve properly greased and working as it should
Akrapovic end-can
Fuel pump replaced
Good pads and discs
Iridium plugs
Forks re-valved by Maxton
Shock refreshed
Suspension set up by Race Lab
Swing arm and suspension link bearings properly greased when I replaced chain and sprockets
Carbs balanced
Front brake master cylinder overhauled
Clutch master cylinder overhauled
Clutch slave cylinder replaced
Immobiliser fitted
MOT till end of June 2010
Tax expires end of this month

Because it is a loved, rather than a neglected, example which I am very happy to keep rather than let go at basket case money, I am looking for £5k. Let me know if that tickles your fancy.

It still brings a smile to my face every time I ride it, but a recent extension on the house is demanding money faster than I can earn it!

Did you get my PM?

It sounds good, wanted stock but you've done some great upgrades to sort out the weak bits - esp fuel pump which left me at the roadside and the shock plain bearing play should not be a problem either.

if you are still interesed please send over some pictures.

All the best
Zombie
