Hi there,
I'm trying to know if the SB8RS ECU comes from Suzuki TL 1000 or is Bimota specific. In this last case how could it be reprogrammed ?

Asking this because my bike won't start and I guess it's because I moved slightly the TPS to try to resolve misfire problem at mid rev and this caused the ECU to totally block...

Any advice welcome
Cheers

ECU is Bimota I believe , tuning /repair unfortunately I don't know but believe people have had good results from dyno work and power commander .

one of my SB8RS bikes blew an ignition coil

another one ( I've owned 3 of them ) would not start because incorrect start plugs were used

the ecu is microtech / Bimota specific

a few guys in the states have had various problems , and power commanders seem a doable fix

of my 2 SB8RS that were hard to start / and or that ran poorly ...., were due to the above and not ecu issues

best of luck with you Bimota

Smile

Thanks guys.

So I guess I need to find a Power commander for my bike...And I also guess they don't come so often for sale.

And I changed the spark plugs not so long time ago...Maybe I did something wrong...I will double check this.

Cheers

I seem to remember the injectors can be changed for a Ducati type giving better atomization.
I also vaguely recall a Triumph Power commander being used with on cylinder unused

Do a search on here
