Copy this link and you should get the MCN article on line... if not put in www.motorcyclenews.com and in the help/search box top right put " bimota db8" and it will come up. Its not an obvious find on the website... great write up, may make the DB7 a tadd cheaper? Who knows... |
Er......... NO! Sorry Pomps

Bimota DB8 first test!
By Michael Neeves -
First rides & tests
06 July 2010 14:05
We’re in Rimini riding Bimota’s new DB8, which is their first new model since the DB7 was released in June 2008 and this is the very first pre-production machine that exists.
Here’s what Senior Road Tester, Michael Neeves has to say about it:
“The big difference between this and the DB7 superbike is the DB8 has a Ducati 1198 motor (the DB7 had a Ducati 1098 engine), a pillion seat and it is cheaper, the exact price is to be confirmed by Bimota UK soon.
•Read Bimota bike reviews
“First impressions are very impressive - the DB8 has excellent road manners, well dialled in suspension and actually steers faster than the Ducati 1198.
•Find a Bimota for sale
“In true Bimota style the build quality is outstanding and it is a fantastic looking machine.”
Read the full report in Motor Cycle News out on sale on 14 July. |

This could end up being the most expensive thread I have ever read. _________________ Pomps
