A certain Bike Specialist Dealer in the UK promoting a DB7 for sale at perhaps the highest Price I've seen for one that wasn't new.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bimota-STUNNING-LOW-MILEAGE-EXAMPLE/202573308747?hash=item2f2a4f634b:g:2agAAOSw5EpcRwmk:rk:1:pf:0

I dont think the Sales folk that write the blurb have ever heard of the internet...as apparently "the hand made frame bolted together by the family owned Italian company"........I'm not quite sure which "family" they are referring to....

And then it was fully recommissioned in 2009 with new belts, fluids etc...so only a mere 10 years ago.....Should be good for another 10 years to come then....

I think that particular dealers prices always tend to be a bit on the high side...although he has an amazing range of mint bikes...

Problem with this guy is he promotes his business as a high end dealer. You would think that this would come with some sort of underlying (I'm lost for the word here sorry as every one I think of gets countered with - he's a salesman) product knowledge/integrity. Especially given that not every customer will be a rich spiv with more money than sense. Then again..... Oh well anyway I'd rather spend my AUD$60K on something else anyway. Can't really trust those hand assembled family business jobbies - didn't know the Bi/Mo/Ta guys were family?????? Learn something new every day Shocked

Poor description for a niche bike.

Their showroom is very impressive (I've not not been in many places with row of 7 Desmosedicis) a the guy and comes across as a very nice bloke - they bought a Norton from a mate of mine.

Lots of nice stuff in there...but yeh...crazy prices.....sometimes they get those crazy prices though...…..The UK govt changed the rules a couple of years back on "private pensions"...it used to be when you reached the agreed age with your pension provider...they merely invested your collective funds and gave you a monthly income...….until the day you died...be it 1 month or 30 years.....so always a bit of a gamble on both sides...

THis changed to "you can cash it all in here and now"....and some folk have done that and "invested" in said expensive bikes as an "investment"...but also as a toy you can see and touch and feel every day...which cant be said for a pension provided monthly....Again...all down to being a gamble...if you cash it in and buy something and drop dead the following day....at least your family has the bike/car/work of art etc...Generally though I would say its the "working man" that goes for this...as his one and only remaining chance in his/her life to attain that 2-wheeled beauty he's always lusted over and never been able to attain....

Same dealer has now dragged a few more Bimotas out of his stock.....aside from the YB11 and SB8...quite an eye watering price on the DB6 here....

To anyone interested in this DB6....I do know its Pre-History....which was on this Forum and all over the internet at one time.....but as an element of politeness for the then owner of the time....his posts referencing this DB6 were deleted from the Forum..... Shocked
