Sb6 seat ,tank unit removal

Seat tank unit Sb6 tried to remove when lifting back over seams to still fixed to pipes , have removed all fixing visible is there any under seat thanks

4 securing bolts under the "bum stop" that attach the exhaust sub frame to the seat unit.

It's tricky the first few times. Once all of the bolts are out, lift the front, wiggle and pull it back a little. Then you have to tilt it to one side and lift over the pipes. I find putting one hand either side and prizing the sides open a little down near where the 4 countersunk fixing screws are also helps

Also need to disconnect the wiring plug for the rear lights. L/H side inside the side of the seat unit

It's also possible to leave the mufflers bolted to the seat unit.... but it's a pain to get to the retaining springs on the pipes. It's also a pain to put back together this way. I prefer to unbolt the muffler support bracket from the seat unit and leave the mufflers on

I go underneath the seat unit and remove the 2 bolts between the mufflers. the subframe stays attached to the seat unit.
