HI DeeBee.....you asked for the "competition" item....here it is

In Australia....which is where there is someone with a stripped down DB4 missing its clothes.....so may be interested in this item or yours if it was any cheaper

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BIMOTA-DB4-1999-2000-FULL-TOP-FAIRING-COWLING-AS-PER-PHOTO-LOT40-40C3303/332222667303?hash=item4d5a039a27:g:bKYAAOSwsXFZGm0n&frcectupt=true

I note that Centrepoint Wholesale are now taking "offers" on this item.....there is BimotaClassicParts with a new one also...albeit 20 years old now....but I think his price is double of this one

Hi Brian,

I found the Aussie one on eBay.Yes, it's definitely overpriced for an item in that condition.

Did not find the BCP item on their webshop nor its price. Only saw an unpainted db4ie item. Where do you get your information from that they sell their tricolore item for double the Aussie money?

Also BCP at first (1 month ago) were not interested in my item, did not want to make an offer. Now they are interested "for a client" and want to know what I ask for it.

I'm open for offers and I don't need to fetch the higher price possible. I'll use the money to repair my injured db4.

So a good and reasonable suggestion is welcome.

Kind regards,

deebee4 aka Riny de Jong

Although they won't take 'reasonable offers'
