The description says ‘professionally prepared for storage, including fluids drained’...... shame they couldn’t be bothered to even throw a sheet over it _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Asking too much. The amount of work to get this poor bike back into good cosmetic and running condition assuming it is mechanically sound is going to cost more than buying one already in good cosmetic and running condition.
I love how the clutch and brake fluid's deep dark brown color demonstrates the quality of mothballing the bike received. There is allot of risk buying something in this condition. Frankly the color of the hydraulic fluids makes me doubt the mileage.... |

I'm glad it was professionally mouth balled !!!!! Can you imagine the state it would be in if some muppet just stuffed it at the back of their garage for 15yrs and knocked it over a few times or dropped something heavy on it from a shelving unit !!!

Wowsa…..Thats about £5500 in UK pennies....and thats the start bid....having said that...thats the end bid and only if someone got real drunk and came home and clicked on the keyboard because they passed out...…..
A dust sheet can do wonders when "storing" ...My DB2 and YB11 when bought had been stood for some 8 years in an underground car park...still with full tanks of gas ….flat tyres...flat suspension.....and were as dirty as this....but...with exhaust fumes from cars going in and out every day...One had "clean me" wiped into its tank with a wet finger...I'm assuming a wet finger was used....Newer model YB11 also with Paioli and not Ohlins rear shock...and Bimotas own infamous later dodgy electronic clocks....the Main problem with this sale...other than what your eyes can see...is it says for sale by first owner...….so maybe hes "only" looking to get half or 1/4 of his money back he paid....clearly hasn't scanned the internet for actual prices..which is strange as he's listed it on ebay...so must at least own a computer?? |
