I like to introduce myself to this community. I have just agreed with the seller of a nice DB9 in Germany. I did a test ride of this bike early this week and was blown away, such a beauty and so much power and so easy to ride...all my wishes were fulfilled within seconds.
It´s a standard DB9 with black forks, rear suspension exchanged to Öhlins TTX, lovely setup!
This will be my birthday present, being 50 yrs old now for a week.
I am riding bikes for almost 25 years, started with a Yamaha RD350 YPVS, then owned a Yamaha XTZ 660, a Yamaha TDM 850 and then fulfilled a dream owning an MV Agusta Brutale, this is 6 years ago but I am still enjoying every minute with my Brutale 989R and I will probably never sell it. But I always wanted to own a Ducati engine in a special housing, so the DB9 came to my mind a few years ago....and now time has come.

I live in Munich, Germany and am looking forward to nice discussions here as there is no active forum in DE anymore,

best regards,
Lars

No active form in de?...that's a shame....this one has slowed down but still going since fb thinned the crowd....welcome to the club....db9...a real nutters bike...and yours has had the best modification already....getting an ohlins ttx fitted instead of the ultra stiff extreme tec rear shock....has your db9 got a single perimeter front disc or twin discs?n

it´s a standard DB9 with double brake discs and brembo radial pumps.

yeah...it´s a shame that there is almost no online presence anymore, but nevertheless, I am looking forward to good discussions and assistance here.

Thanks for your warm welcome!

Hello...drone1.de

Just back from the Eiffel region last night on a Italian hybrid.

But....I also have the DB9....so therefore ...welcome
Any questions ....regardless how stupid you think they are ...just ask

Mine is the twin disc version with Ohlins and the DB11 rear seat assembly along with number plate and rear light modifications.
...oh...and a PowerCommander to take care of the different exhaust...other than these it is almost as it came out of the factory..

Anyway ....welcome

Regards

Gavin

Thanks Gavin!
Yeah...this forum is alive, great!
Mine has also its number plate below the seat and the indicators next to it and it has also the levers made out of full carbon.
I am still waiting for it to arrive which will probably be Sep 21...uff...will be three tough weeks...
