To assist Brian satisfy his curiosity about SB6 tail pieces, I measured the tail piece vents on my Mk1 SB6 - the visible mesh area - and they came in at 325mm long and 45mm at the highest point.
Brian has measured his Mk2 vents and they are 345mm and 58mm respectively indicating that (possibly) a new mould was made for the Mk2 ?
Boris - can you assist Brian by measuring the vents on your SB7 tail piece please ?
And maybe a picture or 2 of the mysterious "tabs" you told me about?
Thanks. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

Well... this gets weird. My Tail vents (well, the left hand one, haven't measured the right hand one, will do that tonight - I bet they're assymetric) are 345x45. Has the "tabs" for the plate mount too.
Boris sent me this pic a while ago - I've circled the "tabs" in yellow, and the "M" paint pen marking that is common with mine in green.
