YB 10 FRAME NUMBER QUERY?

Hi All
Just purchased a 1993 YB10 really original looking condition but alarmed to see that the frame number starts with YB8?
Is there a good reason for this or should I be worried? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome. Nothing to worry about Dean. From the YB6 Exup, through the YB8 range and the YB10, they all had chassis numbers starting YB8. Any more details about your YB10, single seat or rarer biposto? history? photos?

And more importantly...Did it come with the "faux leather" white PVC Bimota press stud Key holder?....and do you want to sell it?

Seen 2 YB10's in the UK for sale....Both very nice...but £4K difference in price

As Paul says...Dont worry...see here for frame numbers...or whether yours is listed with previous owner?

as you can see....made 224 monpostos….and 38 Bipostos...but numbers so past 1100....as it was a continuation of the frame of a previous YB series...so rest calm....Did you get any manuals or exploded spare parts diagrams or rear stand or Bimota Bike cover or toolkit with it? Way back when new you got all those with the bike....
