My YB8 is for sale! It's a UK model bike bought new in 1990 by the first owner. I bought the bike in 2008 (I am owner number eight) and I have therefore owned it for last 12 years.
The bike is in good overall condition for its age. It has done just shy of 22K miles and during the last 12 years lived in various locations in my garage and not been out to play very much (shame on me!).
As far as I’m aware the bike is completely original (other than some stainless bolts I’ve fitted here and there) although Bimota YB8 experts on here may tell me differently 😀. Recent new battery and carb clean so it starts and runs well. It is MOT'd until February 2021.
I’m now at the point in my life where I’m only going to keep bikes that I intend to ride (like my DB6 and DB4). As the years advance and the riding position 'seems' more extreme it’s unlikely to get ridden so time for someone else to enjoy the bike.
I'm asking £7995 for the bike. I’d much rather sell to an enthusiast from the Bimota Forum than someone on Fleabay which is where it will end up if no interest here. Viewing near Romsey in Hampshire. If you want more details and pictures or to view then just PM me. Thanks.

I’ve always liked the YB8, great paint scheme. Good luck with the sale _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
