Hi Guys,
First time on this forum. Where can I get a pair of throttle cables in the UK for the Mantra? The bike has been off the road for sometime but I have began restoring it. Got some problems so I may be after advice in the near future. Regards Mr Jones.
PS how do you add images to a post? |

Contact BimotaClassicParts.
They should be able to help.
If not there is a guy in AUS that seems to have an endless supply of Bimota to break down for spares. He has a few used parts listed now.
Last resort, venhill can replicate the existing cables.
I had to do that on my SB6R. I can not say I was happy with the service or the process. But the end result functioned as it should. _________________ Bimota (Tesi 1D 904SR, DB2, DB4, SB6,SB6R, SB8R, SB8K Santa Monica) Ducati (1000SS, Monster S4, 999R) Aprilia (RSV Mille R Haga) Honda (CL125s and 70s Chopper) |

Have a go at making some up yourself, buy a cable kit from the local bike shop, follow the original one for sizing, all you need is some solder and a iron.
Utube has some hints. I think buying second hand cables is false economy. |
