I was planning on going but that plans now looking dodgy
After you've bought all the SB8 and DB3 bits Gaz, keep yours eyes open for a sb6/6r swinger, linkage and spindle |

As I am overseas til Jan can you also please locate either a Db1, KB1 or db7 for me... awaiting with baited breath. 10 to 1 on the next thread is from UK Bimota and on that note I wonder how the chaps there are doing? _________________ Pomps

Just back from the show and for all those that didn't make it.........
don't worry....you didn't miss much
GK must have bought all the bimota bit's because I coulden't find any
The Bimota stand was very impressive with 3 bims squeezed in a corner.
The food smelt OK but I wasn't there long enough to get hungry.
Haven't been for about 7 years and probably won't be going for another 7 |

I really enjoyed my day out although I didn't have enough time to visit everything - I got quite a few bits for my 1954 Bianchi Bernina project and succumbed to buying one of these to do as a winter project....
although nowhere near the condition of the one in the photo, it has all the hard-to-source bits and matching numbers.
Missed 2 Bims (Steve) as he wouldn't answer my text messages
Our meet at Rivington was more impressive than the "Enthusiasts" display at Stafford. |

Agreed
The inside of my garage has a bigger display of bikes and nearly as many Bimotas (2.5)

Maybe , as the mighty Glen is calling it a day on the enthus club , next year the forum could show him how its done.
Probably a stupid thing to say , as I can't even find the time to get 2 of mine running , or attend the show , but with enough notice may be able to get the DB4 and yb11 or sb6 there. |

I'm sure if we could get the bikes from the Rivington meet + the odd V-Due (Nige?) it would be a stunning display - IF they gave us adequate stand space (which they won't) - probably shoved in a dark and dingy corner somewhere. The Uttoxeter show next year would be good for a starter......... |

no problems there Nige - if you twist my arm (and pay for the petrol!) I'll ride the V-Due |

Hi
The thread on the Uttoxeter I have split off into a separate thread in a new events section.
http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=691
Hope this will be a bit more convenient.
All the best
