OK peeps - IF we can get a minimum of 6 bikes to display at Uttoxeter, I am willing to organise a stand (I'm a VJMC member, so that might help!).
BUT before you commit to supplying a bike / bikes, please think on - the bike(s) would have to be at Uttoxeter on the Friday night and collected on the Sunday - either you camp / sleep in a van / book 5 * accomodation (recommended) or drop your bike off and go home.
I should be able to supply a SB8R and a DB3 Mantra - any others interested? |

Oily - the VJMC calendar for next years events hasn't been finalised yet but I will post the dates of the Uttoxeter show when I know them. We have a far better chance of getting a reasonable display area at this show, and it is fairly central geographically. And well served by the motorway networks. When the aren't gridlocked. |

so - dependant on dates - we could have the following display:-
SB8R
DB3
V-Due
YB11
DB2
anyone want to donate a DB2 (Steve?) , DB4 (Stu?) and a SB6 (Oily?). I also know a guy who has a BB1, so I will ask him next time I see him at the local caff.
any other bikes available? Perhaps a new Tesi, Graham?
It would make for a great one-off show, and we have approx 9 months to plan it.

Another thought ... if we are making the effort to get together we should extend the period to actually riding the bikes and slot on a tour of wales on completion for a couple of days? _________________ Pomps

Yep, you can count me in for a DB2 being present, its only 50 miles from home so no van needed. I presume you aren't allowed to pick up and ride your bike after each day? If not just might have to hang around and drink a lot.
as all have said, dates would be nice, buxom blonde for me please, can be from a bottle |

you can ride the bike home and then return the following day - they are pretty lax about attendance as long as you have THE PASSES
And thanks for offering to show your bike!
Anyone any ideas for a stand display - pizza shop? bikes in chronological order? highest (retail) price to lowest?
Any / all suggestions welcome! |
