And they thought it was better than both the MV and the Ducati (but we all knew that anyway). |

just read the article at work last night. Bit misleading I thought, as the magazine cover states "£5000 exotica" yet we all know the J&S (non-standard colour scheme) SB6 has a ticket price of nearly £7000.......... |

J&S Colour - J&S are the garage selling the bike it's not a special colourscheme but it has been sprayed (by a previous owner) yellow with a black stripe going into the carbon bit on the fairing.
On balance ... it's a possative article about an SB6, but they made a mistake and printed SB6R. The problem with is that is the R version is heavily revised from the 6 so you have to take a view of whether the figures are measured from the 6 or found from stats for the 6R.
They quote some figures from an Achropavic system .... trouble is Achropavic don't make one, so it's probably from a Gix 1100W.
The bike is representative of a £5k bike, private sale. We know £7k is overpriced for this particular SB6.
I think it's easy to get caught up in the details and not see the overall article. They like it as a road bike and also one that can yeald good results if your prepared to mod it. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Thanks for the info`.Not worth going out and buying black and yellow paint then.
On the subject of paint,{sorry to steal a thread},I`ve got a big tin of Army Camo` paint.Says on the tin,IRR.Seems that stands for,
Infa Red Reflective. I`ve also got spare set of body work,..can you see where this is going? . Don`t think the IRR will be any good against speed cameras but WTF
It`s only a coat of paint. |

Always worth a try although I don't think speed camera's work with IR but you might be safe against some of the old aircraft targeting systems and night vision |
