Ask for his bank account details so you can electronically transfer funds
then ,clear out his bank account and buy a new oil cooled engine for the Bimota ,problem solved _________________ Marty

The mail I sent him today..............
Let's see how stupid this scammer really is............
Hello Damain,
I hope you are well.
It's raining here so consequentially my Gardner hasn't turned up today. I was hoping to borrow his van for the trip into town to send your money.
As you know, my vehicle is off the road.
I will try again tomorrow.
Do you have other spare parts for my vehicle as my mechanic has phoned and told me I have a slack rear grommet.
Do you also have a slack rear grommet that I could purchase?
Love
Tracy
He seems to be one of the less stupid scammers but we'll see |

That sounds like an excellent bargain, 50 euros for your rear grommet.
I've told my mechanic and he's looking forward to having a go with a rear grommet that's not so slack
I will attempt to get to town tomorrow

P.S are you sure you don't want me to help you with your browser, as I would love a picture of you as you are being so helpful
I'm struggling to stop laughing and wondering if it's only me that finds scam baiting funny

Funny!
I had something similar, guy wanted to buy my GSXR11 off me, he claimed the old chesnut that someone in the uk owed him some money, that they would send me a cheque for the bike for say £3000 [i wanted £1200 for the bike] and then I was to send him the remainder by western union transfer. The scam being the cheque i would be sent would be fake, his hope was that I would send his 'change' before realising the cheque was a dud. He would arrange a shipment company to collect the bike and transfer it to Nigeria, which of course was never on his agenda if he got £1800 out of me
So I went along with it, I asked him to send the cheque and sure enough it arrived by some DHL kind of document service from Nigeria. The cheque was drawn on the account of Aerosols International in Wellington, Somerset. Now the name sounded dodgy but sure enough this company existed. So I spoke with their CEO and scanned him a copy of the cheque, his signature was correct, and the correct looking cheque too, only they hadn't used the nat west for 5 years!
But it gets more interesting. He was in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. So I left it a week or so and sure enough he was mighty annoyed that I hadn't sent him the money (must have cost him a bit to send the cheque DHL from Nigeria!). So I asked him for his address. I then asked him to give me directions and I would bring the money to him. After all I explained that I worked in Trans Amadi, which is the main industrial area in Port Harcourt [which I did at that time - 2006], laying it on, dropping the names of the few places in that you would only know if you'd been there. Of course I never heard off him again The address was in one of the shanti towns, not somewhere you'd want to go with a white face, even with my handy driver!
But really when the roads are like this would you want a GSXR11

This is pure gold oily! I like the way you think. I've had a couple of these pricks trying to scam me but i never have the patients to string them along for too long. I get too cranky with them and just tell them to f*ck off. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
