Taking a closer look at the spring on my orignal Öhlins rear shock I find the nomination 1106-01. Some internet detective work gives me that this is a 57mm diameter, 170mm long, PROGRESSIVE spring! Öhlins normally don't work with progressive springs, so I find this a little odd.
In a drawer back home I found an Öhlins production line catalogue from -95. The DB2 is listed and from there I can tell that this is the original spring for the DB2.
Has any of you changed the spring for a linear one? In that case what spring rate? Experiences from the change? _________________ RedTop

Got Ohlins for my Kawasaki 750 H2A triple.
Ohlins hasn't for this peculiar bike but do it for me and than put on the Ohlins catalogue.
They were really serious and they changed the spring 3 time until we found the correct one without xtra fees -one week for found the right oner-, got the new spring before I've the time to send the wrong one.
working with french Ohlins, don't know about other countries |

why not ask Ohilins what spring it should be, if they come back with the same number as yours you can either keep that spring or ask them to recomend a spring based on it. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
