Another new member from OZ. Had a YB6 for quite a while now. Slowly spending too much money on it. Doesn't seem to like our bumpy roads around Sydney. Now got Wilbers suspension front and rear. Just trying to replace steering head bearings !! What a nightmare.

Thought I was pretty shit hot on my first ride on the Bimota. Literally went down the street, turned the corner and got passed by 2 RC30's out for a stroll. Ha ! And no I didn't catch them, I wussed out.

Also have a Gilera Saturno (maybe one other in Australia) and Guzzi Mk1 Lemans and a Ktm Adventure for the dirty roads.

Just bought a CB900 Bol D'or to restore. Had exactly the same model/colour etc through Uni. Just missed out on an HB2 but found a couple in Europe for consideration once my new garage is built.

Bit of a tragic for the mid 70's to 80's. Sorry no photos as yet but will get them up soon.

You have quite a collection up there in Sydney. I'm a fairly newish Bimota owner, bought an SB4 last October, now looking at an SB3. I'm a bit like you, don't go fast but geez I look good.

Gisborne north of Melbourne.

Gidday cobber, struth mate your roads are smoother than a kolas bum
give it welly, if this makes you feel crook an havin a chunder, crack a
stubbie,then give it welly.

Shiela such as a Bimbo will test your love and your bank balance, but love her right and she will show you a ripper, anything less and you will end up in the dunnie.

Keep the sunny side up

Hoots mon fae Scotland

Truly international Martin.
I've tried using babel-fish to translate both languages but alas they are too complicated Wink

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps. Hopefully I can return the hospitality one day. Have a plan to bring the Guzzi to Europe next year maybe.....Moto Giro, followed by IOM TT, some Moto GP ...all to mark the big 50.

Or I'll just buy something there...with our dollar being so strong lots of Europe and US are being denuded of old bikes....good to see us get back all the bikes we sold to you bastards.
