You done any engine mods to the SL , 944 kit , hi-comp pistons ??
DB4 has the sport kit on it, corse can , flat sides and K&N's, thought about the 944 route a few times, but costs seem to spiral for what seems to be little preformance. |

FCR's are a bit of a pig to start, no choke, but once warm the induction noise and response is to die for. Problem is , if you call it a problem, the induction noise drowns out the exhaust noise !! They're LOUD , VERY LOAD. |

Thanks for the replies. I do prefer the look of the sb6 and 7 for that matter but when I test rode them the yb11 just seemed to handle better and fit me better. Didn't have time to twiddle anything though. Anyway either would do me now.
Just clocked the sb6 on the j&s accessories site. Anyone know the history of the bike? |

All interesting views but being a car petrolhead too I have to say if you were gonna buy an exotic itallian car the 2 main ones are a ferrari or lamborghini.... the ferrarri is a great usable supercar and parts availability is good although expensive but the lamborghini is a pure race car experience and is very exlusive and you have very little chance of getting parts unless you try hard.... in the same order as i said it think ducati and bimota.
I know which I prefer and I still am not bored of pleading for parts from both of the exotics (or having to have them made).
Just buy a SB6, you won't regeret it until ya short of cash because you will never want to part with it. |

In 1998/9 I worked at Dell and my boss had an sb6 (and a load of other nice bikes) and a bunch of his mates including the guy who owned J&S were Ducati and Bimota mad...
If my memory serves me well... the owner of J&S uncrated one at a track day and then through it down the track first session.....it was a long time ago |

I always thought of my Bimota as a Maserati rather than the other two _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
