Looks like I need a new hydraulic pressure switch for the rear m/c. Does anyone know the thread size, save me taking it off first.
Oily suggested a banjo bolt switch off ebay, just need the size

Needed one for my YB11 as it was not working and also the DB2, have old one in garage so will measure for you. Ducati dealer sorted me with new ones for both as they were the same, stock item used on Ducati's what with the brembo link. Possibly also from gaybay I imagine

Most Brembo stuff is 10 X 1.0 Wink
I have aforementioned switch here if you want to try it. Haven't got around to fitting it yet Wink

Doh. where did my words go, I agree though, just measured the old one, its M10x1.0mm pitch, so most old "black" rear master cylinder jobbies will do, also listed as same as BMW if you have a local dealer.
With it being a banjo bolt on the fluid pressure, it will also give you a chance to change out that old fluid eh?

jeez, quick replies, thanks guys!
i'll order one, thanks for the offer tho oily
It was when I was changing the rear fluid that I discovered the switch wasn't working.
I also figured if i filter the old brake fluid and then boil it to get rid of the water it looks as good as new. 1lt of dot 5 fluid from Halfords is £5 quid now with a trade card. .. . Smile
