Well as promised, here comes the rebuild thread, after it falling off the sidestand "again" and laying round in the back of my workshop for over 18 months my SB6 is now getting some much needed attention.
Dismantling started about 10 days ago and the swingarm has been sent away for attention to the bush that the rear caliper slides on as it was very worn, meanwhile I have half a SB6 in the workshop surrounded by most of its component parts that are being either cleaned or polished and the bodywork is in the process of being stripped and repaired ready for paint.... watch this space.[img][/img]

Forks were like that when I bought it, I thought that was standard on an early SB6, the only mod they have had is the top ajusters when they were rebuilt last year.

I would really like some adjusters as well. I have some ideas on where to salvage some from another bike.

I would really appreciate a few pictures of the Paioli unit. If someone has some, please take a couple of pics? Maybe even just unscrew from the stanchion and take a picture from the side & under. No need to disassemble.

Thanks!

The top (rebound) adjusters were an extra from Paoili and if you look at the parts book they look like they're simply a bolt on part.

If we could sorce some then I'm sure there would be potenial for a group buy or at least repeat orders. I'd be upforit anyway, I saw (in PB mag) that K-Tech have a range so they might have something to fit.

well I've been quiet cos I've been busy but now panic is setting in, just realised its less than 2 weeks until I head of to the manx GP and hopefully on the BIM.
Anyway lots has gone on but still lots to do, ordering a standard screen from skidmarx in the morning and then need to get stuck in to painting her and putting her back together.
Meanwhile hers some pic updates.

Fork ajuster image as promised earlier.

Headlamps in healamp bracket still need sorting (note the corner has broken off so may need to do a botch up to get me to the manx until I can get one)
