Nice one Brian, I think you made the right decison, nice photos, can't wait for my "free" holiday lounging on your terrace. I'll keep an eye open for your missing frame plug, unless anyone on here has one????
Brochure is on its way also |

| Try contacting Piero carroni of Mr V-due fame as those bikes had Bimota "b" log'd frame plugs, measure yours and ask if they are the same, he may have the odd one lying around |

Thanks Steve i'll give him a try. I'll put a thread in the parts wanted section when i get a chance too.
I put 100 k's or so on the db4 the other day. I'm actually quite pleased with the power delivery. I was expecting lees after reading reviews and hearing reports. Could always do with more though . No comparison to the sb6 really in terms of outright power, but it's a great bike to ride and i love the intoxicating note of the ducati donk. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Brian sent me a load of pictures of that one as he was thinking about it as it was a Corse special with the FCR 39 Keihin Flatslides and Corse titanium can...But...The carbon bodywork is aftermarket from Greece and its damage on both sides on the lower belly pan, and as its aftermarket it means its been "down the road" at least 3 times. Thus you would have to check it out thoroughly before even entertaining it. Price wise and Bike wise I think Brian made the right decision |

Thanks Steve. I'm happy with the deal i got on the tri-colour. It's the other one that's been on bikesales for a long time. I have some more info on the carbon db4, pm me if you like. It' got way too many non original parts on it and still some damaged parts. It was a repairable write off (written off by an insurance co.). It is a Corse special but they want 14k for it, then you'd have to spent a packet to get it back to it's former glory.

Thanks. They're both in the shed stripped of their bodywork at the moment. The great thing about bimota's is they look awesome without bodywork too! Thet look like a couple race bikes. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
