We're all glad you came Wink

Yet another Bimota victim to amuse the rest of us Laughing

3 days till the start of of your slippery decline into Bimota obsession, anguish, compulsion, elation, depression. Not necessarily in that order Wink

Today should be the day... but I'm still waiting to hear Crying or Very sad

If my previous experiences of owning and running 'exotica' are anything to go by, then maybe tomorrow... or the day after, or the day after that...

It'll definitely be with me by TT (but will it still be running by then...). This reminds me of a story...

I was riding a fair pace across the mountain a few years back on my Gixxer Thou (k1) with an SB6 right on my tail, and I mean close enough to be almost touching never mind drafting, all the way from the hairpin to the Creg. On stopping, I go over to congratulate the rider on his pace (I don't hang around and know the roads pretty well) and drool over his Bim, and his response, in broken English as a German he was, "I see you Isle of Man number and think, you know where you going, so I wait until I see brake light, then brake too..." It was his first trip to the Island!! I topped 175 (on the clocks) at one point... Shocked Respect..!

It only reinforced my desire to own an SB6 one day, except one with fewer stress fractures in the bodywork than my German friend's.

...Looking good...and hustling!

Yep, the SB6 can go really well.
Think it's due to the amount of cylinders and the fact the engine isn't an Italian toy Laughing
Did I mention ...... I'm collecting another one this afternoon..whoo hoo Laughing

That engine in the right state of tune is rarely short of power. Just leave it in the lower gears and let it sing to the full rev range and lifes pretty ok.

The beasty failed its manx 'MoT' on unsecured brake lines.. Confused
still, anticipation is quite often the best bit (have I convinced myself?)
