Don't worry about taking commissions... are you taking orders for hand made bimota parts _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

No, I'll leave that to Bimota but I'll always have a look at making "hand made" Oily parts _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Sunday morning me and a mate had a play session with the Tesi bits - more out of curiosity really. Here's what we managed to assemble.....
and the detail.........
racing damage...... ouch!
same this side, but covered with carbon.....
and the "whole" package..........
should have been en-route to collect a motor for it today but laid low with a bad dose of man flu, so will have to be another day. _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

joking aside gaz, did i not see a post from george v about him knowing the history of the bike and where the rest is? Or am I going mad? Or both ... It does look more optimistic when you see it together, may be more then a big paper weight after all? assuming you will be changing the colour then the scrapes can be repaired before re coat perhaps? _________________ Pomps

Yes Duncan - George did post that he knew where the rest of the bike was. And another person posted that he knew the history of the bike too - I'm guessing he knows it's UK history. Will get around to pm'ing them soon.
Have already contacted Vyrus in Italy
http://www.vyrus.it/index2.html
and Massimo has offered to help with certain missing items, as has Ben at Alto Racing
http://www.altoracing.co.uk/Racing/
here in the UK (they race a Vyrus in the Thunderbike series).
I have 2 options at present - store the bits in the loft and scan ebay for genuine Tesi 1D SR parts, or compromise and use modern parts to make my "own" version based on the 1D SR parts that I have (obviously without altering them).
Option 2 it is, then.
Just hoping that Ben has a set of these surplus to requirements......
