Some pictures of the bikes getting ready for their SVA.
SB8K
Carbon tank
New headlight fitted
 .
Even the radiator looks good.
Not a lot of spare space in there.
Vdue with the road legal exhaust on.
Not quite as nice as the Jolly Moto pipes
Nice carbon air boxes.

Hi
With the SVA be very careful. From a story told to me recently by a guy in the trade, one person he knew bought in a batch of brand new US GSXR750s. Only thing non standard were aftermarket screens. They failed the SVA as the edges of the screens were too sharp.

The bikes are looking fantastic there vort. Keep up the good work. I bet you're getting excited now eh. Hopefully they'll both be on the road soon!

my Hailwood was failed Tüv (Mot) once because I'd left the fairing lower off, which turned it into an incomplete machine - a danger to other road users!
I now also carry a bit of screen trim with me to the Tüv just in case.
But they are getting more reasonable recently because they have competition from DEKRA now, sounds like a Dr Who episode.
I visited a VOSA station once- I think it was Kidderminster- the people were really alright and helpful- I hope vort has a similar experience.

Seem to hear both extremes on the SVA either very strict or very easy. Are local vosa station is getting closed, so hopefully they will go easy on me.

I do hope, as the next available date they could give me was 26th June, so if they fail its a long wait for a retest. |

True, also heard stories with Japanese import cars which only barely scrape through the emissions check, being driven hard up and down the yard to get a decent temp into the cat and then retested. And this being done a few times until they pass.
And they did manage to get a new build Vincent V twin through the SVA a few years ago.
