what about you just helping me to get it sorted? mind you it's a pleasure to work on when I do have time
I got a new back tyre, coolant and a chip for the kit pipes on the 851 last week, the new Champion plugs should be here soon- then to push that out and have a cracking up ceremony let there be SOUND _________________ Bimota DB2 tricolore, Bimota YB4e.i, Ducati 851 tricolore, Ducati Hailwood Replica, 1968 Gitan Grillo sport, Yamaha GTS1000, Honda Deauville, Honda GB500 Clubman

congrats on getting a picture up, takes a bit of working out.
You've got a replacement radiator?- looks like without the oil cooler attachments?- normally some small tapped ali blocks welded on the under surface.
Are you also missing the fuse box bracket which attaches to the top of the rad? the spare screw.
but you have wires- lucky you. Original loom is anyway something to work with.
Is the rest 'almost sorted'? looks 'all there' and sound. brilliant!
great to have another YB4 on the forum

Thanks it was a puzzle for a while getting the picture up. I had the radiator made and the oil cooler is now mounted underneath. The fuse box bracket is something I forgot to fit but have. Need to put the chain on and run it fairingless for a while before I bite the bullet and fit the fairing back on again, I'm dreading it after the pain of removing the thing. It's nice to show it to people who share my Bimota addiction _________________ YB4, SB6R, GRISO 8V, GSXR750 |

to whoever's interested
This is a link to the Ducati forum,
http://www.ducati851and888.com/showthread.php?5110-Early-851-racing-mods..-PDF
somebody just put up a document with a fuel injection wiring diagram- it should be the same for all Weber injected bikes, colours are different, but a chance to see what is connected where. If you are not a Ducati forum member- you might not be able to download it or see it at all??
in that case send me a pm with your email address and I'll send it to you

well it only took me 4 months to work out that I can record from the tape onto the card- because I can't download video tape to my computer.
did a quick 'you tube' editing this morning

the professional stuff is taking a bit longer, you need patience for quality sometimes. _________________ Bimota DB2 tricolore, Bimota YB4e.i, Ducati 851 tricolore, Ducati Hailwood Replica, 1968 Gitan Grillo sport, Yamaha GTS1000, Honda Deauville, Honda GB500 Clubman
