I think the difference is between the generic and specific. When Dynojets first came out they were for specific models, they were produced using the bikes and running them on a dyno. I thought the later kits were produced from data rather than acutal bikes.
I've heard one guy who chased dynojetted carbs all round the settings and couldn't get them right, then reverted to stock and it was just as good.

Mine's got that, althought the cans are the race style ones, I think the biggest problem with the exhaust is the T section where the single pipe branches into two.

Finally the parts where delivered, opened the package and……. That’s strange… the jet needle looks different… Confused

The parts that were delivered are for a 38mm carb… Sad

Now I can wait again two or three weeks for the right parts. Evil or Very Mad

Last update,

Yesterday I received the last parts of the carbs and this time they are the right parts. Smile

Immediately began reassembling the carbs, install them on the bike and synchronize them.
Finished the bike and …… finally I can make a test ride. Smile

It runs great……now I have a smile form ear to ear an it is still on my face. Smile

It’s smooth in all the revs no hick up what so ever.

If you are to rough with the throttle immediately the front wheel is in the air. And that’s good, it saves tires. Cool

The carbs settings are:
needle 6ZD13-4th
P-2 needle jet
122 main jet
#40 pilot jet
Pilot screw 1-5/8 turns out

This weekend I want to try the top speed of the Bim and to find out if it runs okay at high speed.

The bike runs fine, only I had some problems with cornering……… it didn’t feel right.. So mine idée was to find out what’s wrong.
I go to what we call over here a trefoil (an intersection of highways only with right-hand bends) to test the bike at different speeds.

At low speed it was fine, at middle speed the front doesn’t feel secure, at high speed a had a lot of oversteer. It feels like the front tire will go down under me.
At that time I now enough, so let’s go home…… Surprised

Directly on the highway a silver Audi rs4 sedan past my and showed me a sign that was illuminates with “police follow”……f**k….. It’s not my day……

The very fine police officers had made a video of me when I was making the bends for more than ten minutes….. Damn mirrors on the Bim… Sad

. They give a fine of 323 euro for speeding. 87 km where 50 km is allowed… Sad

.I was lucky ,I could do better…. Confused

They preached for 15 minutes and showed me the video….
According to them the public road is not a circuit….. Confused

Now the difficult part…. tell the misses… Shocked

Probably it cost me another 323 euro…..she want to buy shoes of that amount of money.. Shocked

O…. the oversteer was caused by underinflation of the front tire. Rolling Eyes

and I thought we had it bad in the UK.

SB6 is very critical of tyre pressures as you now know Laughing

Worst thing is.........323 euro and you still don't know how it performs at speed Crying or Very sad

To be fair you were clocked at nearly twice the legal limit.
And no the Germans are as harsh about speeding in the 50 zones.
There is a time and a place for everything.
The only places I ride quick is out of town and villages. 60mph zones etc, thats 100kph or so in your money. If I got caught doing 55mph in a 30mph zone Id be using the bus, and witing for the end of my ban.
