From what I heard this video was captured in the south of France during a road test for a british bikes magazine. So the bikes were lent by Bimota and Ducati and the riders did not own them, they were just 'journalists'.
That explains a lot of things...

did you spot the classic mistake at 8:56? that's right. he goes to check on the other rider. what he should have done was pick up the bimota first! obvious really.

Nah he sat him on the edge of the ravine ... having just stacked a Bimota he should have done the honourable thing and jumped Wink
