Does anyone on this forum know if sb8r wheels
Will fit properly under a 6R?
I finally found the right ones but they come from a sb8r.
I am looking forward to the answer.

Regards johan

The rear wheel I think is the same axle size. The Antera rear on the SB8R/SB8RS is 17x 5.5 width however, which works well with a 180 rear tire.

If you want to use a 190 rear tire you really should get a 6.00 width to get the best results.

The Antera front on the SB8R/SB8RS has a larger front axle size, so you will need to use sleeves or smaller ID bearings, seals and spacers.

The SB8R/SB8RS also has the speedo pick up at the front sprocket.

If your bike has a front wheel speedo pick up then the Antera front from a SB8R/SB8RS would need to be adapted to accept your front wheel speedo pick up.

Im pretty sure that this is correct. I hope that someone else will give a reply to either confirm this or point out any errors I may have made in my reply.

Good luck

Rather than a 190 rear ... use a 180 55

Speedo pick up on the SB6R is on the front disc so shouldn't cause much of a problem just new spacers and sleeves for the wheel.
The front axle on the SB8 being bigger ties in with the issue that miriman is having with his Antera's, maybe his are from a SB8. Would the SB8 have a 28mm axle per chance?
There may be a sprocket alignment issue with the rear wheel going from a V twin to a proper engine, again spacers may solve the issue.
Tyre size....personal preference
