Hi Folks,
The oil pipe that runs from the oil cooler on my SB6 low down on the righthand side of the engine to the rear inlet has frayed. It's only a small hole, but the oil that spewed over the rear tyre out nearly had me off in a righthander. Not nice and I'm pleased I wasn't knocking on!
I presume this is a standard Suzuki part? If so I can order a new one from the local dealer. Otherwise - anyone have any advice please? Or even a spare one they'd like to sell me? Thanks for any advice.
Cheers

It's a standard Suzuki part, and I might have one.
When you put the fairing on you have to position the foam rubber ring on the oil pipe against the edge of the fairing. Otherwise the fairing edge cuts the oilpipe - Ask me how I know
I'll have a look this evening _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Thanks EC, you're right, the rubber ring had slipped. I say 'slipped', I'd changed the oil & filter a few days before and then carefully reassembled it... _________________ SB6, Moto Guzzi Griso 8v, Guzzi 1100 Sport inj |
