I got the idea from this thread:
http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3231
I thought it may be fun for us to post up our what we call "Vanity" plates here in the US. I think any special sign-age, or the like, would fit as well.
Here in the USA, there is a fun custom that started about 15 or more years ago, where during fireworks shows the crowd collectively yells Oooooooohhhh as the fireworks climb skyward and AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH as the firework explodes. So you hear this; Oooooooohhhh......Aaaaaahhhhhh. It is a blast!
Anyway, I copied this custom and play it out on my "Vanity" plates on my bike. Here in Utah, on motorcycle vanity plates, you are only allowed four characters.
Enjoy:

That holder is the unit that came on the bike and is intended for European plates. I kept it on there for about 10 years, too keep my bike "pure stock."
But, just a couple of years back, I broke down and took the hack saw to it! _________________ '98 Bimota SB6R #000016 "Sweet 16"

I thought this plate would have been snapped up by a Bimota owner well before I found it was still available. I pondered whether to buy it as "premium plates" cost several times more than standard plates plus there is a hefty yearly fee attached. It was still available when I retired so it, along with a 1960 rally modified Mk2 Jaguar, were my retirement presents to myself. Cars are allowed 6 figures but bikes are restricted to 5, therefore had to omit the "I".
