correct me if I'm wrong but the stem is pressed in.....how did you get it out?

Ha! Ingenuity...of course!
Tools: Hack saw, shallow socket, pneumatic chisel, patience, BALLS, and the stubborn desire to get things done regardless of not having the "proper" tools!
I got it back in using an aluminum bearing race punch and a 7lb. hammer!  
Ask me how I got the pressed in alternator coupler out of the igniter drive without taking the engine out of the frame!!!!
Like we used to yell out in the body shop when a customer was being walked through the shop:
. I'm an ARTIST Damn it!!! I can't work in these conditions!!!!

Your gonna tell me next that you "hammered" (or did a "Pompey" as it's known) the stem into the new TT
