Well a Good 9 nine days was had by Meself, BimotaNige and Vort over at the Isle of Man TT, DB6R, DB5S and YB11 all performing faultlessly and clocking some 800 miles or so a-piece...who says Bimotas are unreliable or not suited for touring??
PErhaps helped by the wonderfully blessed good weather and not a drop of rain over the entire period...perhaps as the bikes were intended to be used by Design.
Caught up with Mad Plankton who lives over there, at the Laxey Show and his SB6...Also seen on the Island:-
DB4 Tricolor passing other way at the Grandstand, foreign Plates
SB6 on Dutch Plates riding down Douglas Promenade
YB something with LCD Blakes Seven dash at Cragg Ny Baa
DB5S at the Bungalow, nice man from Slovenia...
So a mere 8 Bimotas...other than the HB4, but I didnt see that one
Pictures to be uploaded when I've caught up with life in General.. |

And now I have a little more time, a few snaps of ten days fun at the tt, glorious weather, not a drop of rain, and more bacon sarnies in one week than I've had in my entire wife, cheers to Vort, and bimotanige for the company...
And the newbie to the forum with his Db5
Some fly boys in their red arrows...
And some fat boys and their bims...

Steve thanks for nice pics of my bike. I was very glad to meet with you guys...
This years TT was excellent adventure... 2500 miles driving for me (with a van and bikes in it), but atmosphere was great... very kind locals, perfect weather and just a taste of mountain course... I enjoyed more than I expected before
Was someone to TT Classic this year? _________________ Bimota DB7, Bimota DB5 Mille, Ducati 916, Ducati M900, Benelli Tornado Tre |

Nice pics Steve.
And another quite remarkable part of the story. Steve got talking to an Ausie completely by chance at the TT and he turned out to be a riding mate of mine .
