It might be easier to get a second engine and drop it in while you tune ... opps fix the original. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

So if Oily was to do the work (for example) you could get the bike to him, he could change the engine and then repair yours. So you wouldn't miss the summer. Then when yours is repaired ride it back to him and swap the motors back.
That way the engine numbers stay the same on the V5, because Bimota engines have different numbers to Suzuki's _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

I had a similar issue, years ago.
I found that the linkages were not quite adjusted properly. One thing I fixed was the angle of the shift lever. It turned out, it was to high and my toe and ankle wasn't pressing it upward with enough pressure and it would "mis-shift".
I changed the angle downward one or two gogs and now I don't have to lift my toe as high to engage a good positive shift.
It's worth a try......good luck. _________________ '98 Bimota SB6R #000016 "Sweet 16"
