To be fair you were clocked at nearly twice the legal limit.
And no the Germans are as harsh about speeding in the 50 zones.
There is a time and a place for everything.
The only places I ride quick is out of town and villages. 60mph zones etc, thats 100kph or so in your money. If I got caught doing 55mph in a 30mph zone Id be using the bus, and witing for the end of my ban. |
It was out of town. On the ramp and exit of the highway.
Only in those places there is a speed limit of 50km/h
And the speed limit is been implemented because of fatal accidents involving motorcyclists.
You’re right in a city or village, it is irresponsible.

Sorry,
Didnt mean to preach.
Tuff call if it was a sliproad (off ramp)
Must be a tight curver / corner if they have put that limit on it.
I remember comming of a nice tight curving off ramp that was 2 lanes on a 600 kwak.
I took the out side lane, half way around cranked over and looking to accellerate out to the straight I found the lane was covered in stones. Some wagon had spilled its load into the lane.
Hit the brakes piked it up and just missed the barrier.
Some times limits are there for us.
Or so dickheads dont fu## it up for the rest of us. ( thats the wagon drivers not you). _________________ Si...

No problem, you don’t need to apologize.
The problem with those curves is that there are always persons that want to find there limits.
And if the go over there limits they crash in to the barrier. _________________ vince

Hello Forum visitors,
Can someone explain to me why in my carbs there is a main jet with the size 122 installed? ( all 4 cil)
While according to the GSXR 1100 manual there should be a 125 for cil 1,2,4 and for cil 3 a 127.5 main jet.
ID number carb is 46E0
Is for the SB6 the jet size 122 normal?
Are there more deviations compared to Table for the SB6?
I want to order new parts but I’m not sure what to order. The parts that are already installed or the parts according to the Table.

Sorry to drag up these old posts but they still have good info i guess. Just wondering if anyone can offer any info on some questions please.
What do they mean in the table by 'Throttle valve' is that the butterfly?
What is the difference beween 'Pilot jet' and 'Starter jet' in the table?
What is the 'Needle jet' marked P-2 in the table?
I know wat the Jet needle is as mine is marked the same as in the first column in the table - 6ZD13
I appretiate any help offered. Thanks

Starter jet could be the choke
Throttle valve could be the butterfly itself there's a number on it. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
