Really love the sb6 fairing look much more than the sb6r. Does anyone know with headlight change if sb6 fairings will fir sb6r ??

I would guess the headlight fairing bracket is completely different as the 6r has the battery under the tank were the 6 is in the fairing. This would make the fitting fun.
I would also be slightly concerned with the tank. The 6r is a finished plastic item unlike the 6. So the nice graze on the tank may have caused irreparable damage to that also and I know these tanks can cause issues anyway with degrading .

Are the tanks on the 6R's plastic?

Tanks on the R are not the black plastic under a fiberglass cover like the early Bimota stuff, but a white plastic sprayed to a finish coat.
There have been a few posts on the forum from the USA were their fuel seems to attack the plastic and produce a sludge in the tank/carb jets.

In Thaialnd import duty is around 213% on big bikes.. its ridiculous and kills any chance of bringing a bike in... cant even lie about purchase price as they default then to the new price....ahh well
