After working on the throttle bodies, I realized that the injectors were the brown band ones found on the 900mie Monsters, not the green injectors found on the 900ssie? The brown injectors flow a bit more than the green injectors, so the ecu has to have a different map. Are the cams the same on the injected monsters and super sports? I'm guessing that the injected DB4s actually came with Monster motors, not Super Sport motors. _________________ 2002 Cannondale E440

When I managed to break the electrical connection off one of my DB4ie injectors my local auto injection specialists matched it up with one from a Fiat Panda car, Weber part WFI024. Didn't quite match the exotic image of a Bimota _________________ Bimota DB4ie

WF 1024 is the number for the injector, I had to buy a replacement for mine a few years ago after the bike developed a bit of a misfire. It's a 4 port nozzle as opposed to a single port for a standard 900ss, got it from WEBCON http://www.webcon.co.uk/ very helpful and quick post about £90 ish. The fuel tank is very close to the horizontal cylinders injector and the connector on mine had developed a crack. Not sure what else the injector fits but the electrics do have something in common with an early Fiat Panda car |

Corona,
Since I have my bike apart, I took a look at the injector location. You are right, the air box is resting on the rear injector. Whipped out my heat gun and heated the plastic area on the air box and pushed it in a little. Now the air box doesn't touch the injector.
