Apologies Brian.........Bimota do do XXL T-shirts........but for Italian XXL men only.....that translates to a "medium" in the UK.......Plus I wanted to go "incognito".... |

Seems to be a common theme of red/ white and red/ white/ green here. Oh and a bit of carbon thrown in here and there.
Disappointing to NOT see an sb6! Considdering it was the largest produced Bimota model (and possibly one of the best looking ) _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Great photo's, I'll never clean the YB9 seat again!
Good to meet you all again, sorry I couldn't spend more time on the stand and at the show. Very impressive sight see all the Bims together, some fantastic machinery on the stand. And as mentioned more bikes than the main dealers had on show.
I got some photos, but no Lycra clad ladies.

Classy shots as always Lammie.........cheers....and a nice "bribery and corruption" picture of Vort chatting to a young lady....maybe now I have leverage to extort a carbon fibre gear rod for my V-due...... |

I know the whereabouts of a closer sb6 than mine. But i won't name and shame the owner... suffice to say he was probably too busy pampering his other bims for the show . Maybe next year. I'll have to give him a gentle reminder next year to give him plenty of time to throw the bodwork on. I'm sure the owner of the little cutesy Vdue engine will come forth...as soon as he has recovered from his Bimota Fest weekend....and gotten back to work.......purpose built stand was made up by Laminator...who even put in a stainless steel plate, drilled and bolted to fit a Bimota rear stand that fits the Bimota engine....a true star Lammie.......... |

Back to work with a bump today matey Great to catch up with all the forum chaps and visitors. The look on that stallholders face when you fired the DB2/4 up by his earholes was priceless hahaha. Thanks to you for the put up and Laminator for the YB7 tank -sorry it took so long to get replicated!! I think we were voted best stand by the show goers for sure. _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Cheers Nige...and yeh...that would have been the Db2 with the Moto Corse Titanium straight thru pipes that caused some consternation...although I'd love to have had a pciture of his expression...He was moaning at "emissions" and exhaust gases....but didnt seem too concerned about the articulated Truck cabs with their 9 litre diesel engines that were running in the building...albeit a little quieter.......Had an interesting ride home on the DB2.......Front brake lever came all the way back to the bars...and something wrong with the rear brake also......so no brakes........ Fortunately the engine braking is phenomenal so just used that instead and overtook everything to be in front...that way I never needed to stop...........Ah well.......more garage time I suppose

Well done guys, great display and obviously a lot of effort went into it.
Thought the Vdue engine display was a great idea but there again I'm biased.
Can't praise the quality of the whole display enough. |
